Photoscenic aims to bring you quality photographs of Australia with an emphasis on Sydney and its icons . The photo collection includes images from Sydney icons and its beaches as well as some other scenic places around Australia. Also available a large collection of photos of France and Paris. Choose from a large collection of photographs for home decoration. Our photos are available for presentation in frames or acrylic float frames.

ABOUT Thomas Joannes

My goal is to bring you quality photography at a fair price. Although I always have been a keen photographer from the age of 10, I started to be very serious about it while I was living in Japan between 1995 and 1999. I learned to process black and white negatives and later on to print in a darkroom. It was rather difficult at first as all information I needed to know in order to process film and print on paper was in Japanese. This gave me an extra difficulty which I was able to overcome as soon as I got access to the Internet. Suddenly everything was in English and made sense.

Upon my return to Australia I decided to study commercial photography at a technical college for 2 years and try to start a new career. Laterally I was working for a photographic supply company dedicated to professional photography. I gained much experience there, being in contact with professional and artist photographers. During that time I started selling my photos at the Manly Craft Market on Saturdays and Sundays. I now have arrived at the first goal that I fixed myself years ago, which was to be able to live from my photography.

I named the business Photoscenic mainly because I hope that Photoscenic will, one day, represent the collective work of other photographers. I believe photography is a passion for many people and a lot of these people dream to make a career in that field, but are not always able to make the change due to financial commitments etc. I wish that one day I will be able to channel other people's work as well as my own through Photoscenic and help them get the recognition that their work deserve.

Manly Craft Market

I trade every Saturday & Sunday as well as public holidays at the Manly Craft Market on Sydney Road. Manly is one of Sydney tourist attraction famous for its beach, aquarium, restaurants and cafes. Manly is within the reach of anyone by ferry from Circular Quay in Sydney. Coming to Manly beach by ferry is a great way to see the Sydney Harbour and its coastline.
