🍍Monday means celebrating. I’m celebrating the opportunity to have a date night with my husband. Some much needed time R&R to reconnect as a couple and as friends. Running a business is incredibly rewarding, and can also place an added strain on marriage in the foundation year(s). I recall going to a course where a key suggestion was to put yourself in an ‘up level environment’, and to start to carve out the life you want to live. So often I hear in business owners say: I do...n’t have the time, I don’t have the spare funds, I’m too worried what will happen in my business if I take time off. It’s important to prioritize the things that matter. To think about WHY you’re in business and the people that are helping you get there. Over the next week, sit with your significant other with your diaries and schedule a date night, a hotel stay, a round of golf or even lunch with them at work. If we don’t carve out the time, time simply goes by. 🤔 So tell me, how do you reconnect or unwind?

Rotary Club of Camden President Rob Elliott joined me today for a Walk and Talk. I learnt so much about the great work that our local Rotary deliver within and for our community. Years ago I thought Rotary was for the retired and semi - retired - how wrong was I? Now I see how Rotary is jam packed full of opportunities to learn, grow, be mentored and to give back. I was simply buzzing with excitement.
Rob and I walked in our denim to support Jeans for Genes Australia around Gregory Hills to Bunnings Gregory Hills for a sausage sizzle to support our farmers. A dynamite start to the day that's for sure.

When you admire something about another woman, tell them. Let's link arms and get in the habit of lifting each other up.
I'm extremely blessed to be surrounded by incredible strong women (and men) that inspire me, that call me higher and encourage me to keep going.
Today I'd like to say thank you to my dear friend from Helping to Restore Balance - Josephine Byrnes Luna. Thank you JBL for all you do for me and for people within our community. You always have a listening ear a...nd my life is richer for knowing you. I wanted to pause for a moment to publicly acknowledge you for your strength, wisdom and sheer love for life.
