potts point has a huge range of vintage japanese ceramics....we have had to find new shelves for display. many are great functional pieces such as large vases and platters and large bowls

it has taken quite a while to collect these vintage cottons to make our quilt. all hand dyed fabrics, some of the pieces are a little bit delicate, with cotton filling and a pure linen backing. we don't think that it will last long

after a break of a few years we again have some upholstery on the showroom floor again. the slim armchair is generous but compact with little snuggly wings and some interesting rear detailing too.built in sydney and displayed in a heavyweight belgiun linen on a solid hardwood frame. also available as a sofa in all sizes 2, 2.5 and 3 seaters

we have two spare tickets to the archibald prize exhibition on at the art gallery of nsw...(it finishes this sunday 28th!) so if you can collect from surry hills on saturday or sunday and have time to attend this weekend, then first in gets them

gorgeous fabrics combined in subtle variations in textures. our own planet quilt

there is a little tag that says "the feathered star" on this cotton pattern and we have backed it with plain calico and a cotton fill. all of our quilts are made to fit queen or king beds

the japanese refer to this style as " boro" or raggy. these fabrics have been handspun and handwoven and have had other lives prior, so there are darns and patches and loads of handstitching on the central linen /hemp/other bast fibres. the side panels are handspun and handwoven silk with a painted design of persimmon. we have assembled the fabrics in sydney with a khadi cotton backing and cotton fill

helen richards used more than 5km of thread to create this free embroidery piece for us. the main panel is handspun and hand woven silk, side panels are linen. it has a cotton fill and the backing fabric is Ikat. to fit a queen or king bed

how lush is this piece?? we have three carpets in this style from India. this one took three people 14 months to make. we love the gentle grading of colour, the variation in shades and the exotic pattern. someone is going to be very lucky!
