Mark was very friendly and informative. Rooms were reasonably priced and spacious. Parking onsite. Great location next to the river.

We stayed here during the Glen Miller Big Band tour of 2017. Cathleen was the perfect hostess and the accommodations we're older but simple and clean. Free WiFi worked well even when 26 band members were signed in at the same time. The highlight was the outdoor BBQ where we had a big cookout on our last night there. Cathleen even had our complimentary breakfast ready at 6 am the next day as we we're heading out of town. Cheers to Pleasant Way River Lodge.

Managers were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bright and comfortable. Had everything that we needed. Only thing they didn't have was a Bible, which I find a comfort in a room.

At first. The reception girl seemed nice enough but the second night she gave us attitude.
Spiders & spider webs in the bathrooms, white tips seen in the bbq area.
The fridge didn't work & there was no cutlery unless you count the spoon for coffee.
Keep your personal belongings sealed. Items that had no need to be moved had been after we got back from our day out.
Bring your own towels. Or their "premium" towels (I would bet my cleaning charge I was given for using what the towels are there for they were $5 from Kmart they certainly looked & felt like it) to which the reception girl got rather rude over mentioning, & upon packing up to leave our final day, rather demanding over.
The beds were rock hard but pillows were soft so that's more personal preference.
Honestly. For the price. I'm not too surprised but the staff could work on their customer service a bit more & rather than fuss over the "premium" towels in the bathrooms, maybe focus some more on the funnel webs that wanted to say hello while showering.

Very friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms. Cute little coffee shop on the premises so a fresh coffee on arrival or to wake too.. Heated pool was fantastic. Will be back.

This place try to set themselves apart from other motels by adding a few things here and there. E.g. They have a nice coffee shed which serves amazing coffee & food

Friendly service and a comfortable bed. However our "upgraded" room was very small, poorly finished with unattractive furniture and a very small and old air conditioner. The hotel is well located but not great value for the price. We stayed at another hotel on our return trip which was slightly more expensive but with lovely views , a great pool and decent sized room.

Very happy with our stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Onsite small cafe had really good quality coffee and hot chocolate which was a big bonus. Thoroughly recommend Pleasant Way Motel and will stay there again.
