Just so thrilled with our two sofas and two electric recliners. From the in store staff to the delivery young men everything was handled with care courtesy and professionally. Only trouble is I don’t want to move off it. So comfortable. Thank you Newcastle Plush 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Having previous bad experience with a recliner chair bought at Anstey's, in April 2017 we decided to buy a high-end recliner from Plush Furniture at Newcastle. We paid top dollar and we were impressed by their warranty promises. Paid in advance, we were told it would take about 8 weeks to receive it. At the end of that period, we rang to chase it up and were told it had been mislaid in their warehouse. Well we got it after ten weeks. All was well until October when the reclining mechanism failed. In accordance with their warranty procedure, I rang Plush Customer Care and was informed a technician would ring in two working days to organise an appointment to service the chair. No call was received so after four days, I again called Customer Care. I was then informed that a new motor had been ordered and it could take 4 to 6 weeks for me to receive it.; and if I had any trouble replacing the motor myself, then to call back and arrange for a technician to help (???) This is a novel approach. "Do It Yourself" repairs under warranty! I told the young lady I am an elderly man with a mobility issue. Well no problem, just ring again and make arrangements for a technician to come. Very disappointing for a high-end furniture retailer. Ten weeks waiting to get it.. another 4-6 weeks before the part arrives then if I can't fix it myself, probably another week or so for a technician to drop by. I have had enough of poor quality, sub-standard recliner chairs from supposedly reputable businesses.

We bought our lounge and 2 armchairs during the EOFY sale. The day we went in was so busy the sales people were run off their feet. Nigel finished with his customer and approached us as if we were the first customer of the day. We really appreciated his patience with all our questions. There was no pressure to purchase but we loved the lounge and signed on the dotted line.

We just received our lounge and are extremely happy with the product. It looks great and is so plush!!

I purchased a lounge from Plush last week and couldn't be happier! Not only with the product (so soft, so comfy and such great quality!) but with the customer service I received! Nigel introduced himself a couple of minutes after I walked in the door, he was really friendly and approachable. My 4 year old decided to act like he'd eaten a bag of sugar the moment we walked through the doors. Nigel and Tyler (the other gentleman working there- just as lovely!) did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. They both gave me a warm smile while my child ran around. I had a good look around and left, only to turn around 10 minutes later to come back and buy a Magnum lounge ( I highly recommend that everyone should own one of these lounges!). The process was made so easy by Nigel and Tyler, as I filled out paperwork my son was given a Plush teddy by Nigel, it was really sweet and kept him quiet (thank goodness!).
I was also VERY happy with the warranty they provide on their products!
My background is in hotel management and in a day and age where customer service is (in my opinion) depleting it was wonderful to experience such a high level of customer service.
I hope that Nigel and Tyler read this because people that go above and beyond deserve to be recognised. Thank you both!

Hugely happy with my beautiful new lounge. In-store service was brilliant - they answered every question and were only too happy to give me time. The delivery was ahead of schedule and the boys set up my new lounge exactly in position and took every bit of wrapping away with them. All staff were very professional.

If I could give them 0 I would. It's just ridiculous that some reviews are from people who work in the store. I bought a lounge (floor stock) from Penrith store and was served by Fiona was was nice to begin with. My lounge was delivered damaged, legs were bent and the leather was badly damaged and scratched over three panels by the straps used to hold the lounge down in the truck. Fiona became very nasty on the phone to me so I put a complaint in about her and my lounge. They told me it could be repaired but the leather replaced would not look the same as the rest of the lounge!!! I paid $3,500 for the lounge plus delivery. In the end I had to fight for my money back and the lounge to be returned. Then they would not refund my delivery fee. I paid for a good lounge to be delivered to me damaged, then I basically had to live with it damaged and not looking the same at what I purchased, a long with them damaging the floor boards in my house. Never buy from plush Penrith!! And also be aware of Fiona!!
Thanks for your response- I escalated this myself with no help from anyone from plush as all they kept giving me was the run around! I finally received a refund on the delivery, even though Fiona was adamant that I was not entitled to this back???
To say I am disappointed is an understatement, I will never buy from plush again.
STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM THEM- WHAT A SURPRISE!!!
Today is September 14th: I thought someone was going to contact me.....

I purchased a Westbury chair a few years ago, and still looks like new. It's the most comfortable chair.
