May 2011 - NSW Pre-Litigation Mediation. I just completed a mediation in accordance with the newly introduced requirements of ss. 18D-F of the Civil Procedures Act. Thanks for an excellent mediator, co-operation between the solicitors acting and an apparent willingness of the parties to achieve settlement the matter was settled within a few months of the dispute beginning. This was an excellent outcome for the client.

April 2011 - successful appeal in major case concerning the liability of controllers of a company, saving them from personal liability. Developing the law on s. 419A of the Corporations Act.

April 2011 - PRIORITY OF SECURITIES - REGISTERED CHARGES AND LIENS
In Warner v Ulysius International Trading, complex issues of statutory and legal priorities. Completely successful outcome for my client .

In Frances v CPI Graphics (Brereton J) clawed back funds that had been paid pending determination of proceedings because fdanger that the funds would be dissipated.

Telstra 2009 –
