Police commissioner Andrew Scipione says the reduction of the sentence of a convicted police killer by eleven years today comes as a shock. I like to remind the commissioner he should experience what it is like when the boot is on the other foot. There has been too many suppression of public access of witness statements and too many police shooting of unarmed citizens in recent time for him to get shocked. The appeals court’s decision to reduce the sentence of the convicted police killer has to be lauded and viewed with a breath of fresh air.



The justice system has been toeing the police line for far too long and it was time to break the shackles. He should read the news media for sex discrimination and harassment in the police force 45% of employees responded to the survey 38% witnessed it and 14% reported it while there was a boy’s club culture in the police force. There is no sympathy for you as you have presided over the terrible state of affairs in the police force and the unbelievable lies being told by the police force going unpunished. Instead expressing cowardly shock you should courageously resign.
