Poms Peace Of Mind Servicing

My car was showing an engine light that wouldn't go off. I took my car to POMS. I was annoyed to find out that my oil had turned to sludge and Micheal from POMS told me I had to flush the engine and put new oil in. They also recommended that I do a full service. So I took his word and did all that. The cost was $519. They told me that the air filter needed changing and I could have a problem with the chain in the engine. That was the error message showing on the diagnostic machine. They told me they would order the Air Filter and call me when it arrives so they can fit it in my car. To date, I have received no phone call. They also told me that they would source a rear taillight and let me know the price as mine is broken. I haven't received a call about that either. They charged me $65 for a diagnostic check. I recently took my car to Reekies for a second opinion. Reekies did a diagnostic check for no money. It is a very simple process to get the light to go off with this machine. They also told me that the light issue was just a connection not the chain. They gave me this diagnosis for no charge. My rating is based on being ripped off for a diagnostic check that is a simple plug in job and also no call backs whatsoever regarding the parts they were supplying to me. I would not go back and can't believe they charged me $65 for a diagnostic check, which turns the light off anyway. They made out they had fixed the problem, when in fact they hadn't. Sorry POMS, I trusted you but have realised from another company, i was actually charged too much.
