Poplars Caravan Park

fantastic location, amenities are acceptable, couple of the blokes working there are really friendly and helpful. but there's no security, and my tent did get theived from in the night which is apparently a known issue. wouldn't recommend to anyone staying in a tent.

Broken handles in showers..hooks and floir not cleaned and front door not swept of leaves and soil. Toilet paper holders broken not fixed.

Don't know why some winge about this part. Its a basic park they are in a big drought.Its handy to town & all around . management was great.

About a wk ago I got stranded in Dubbo bloody car had to be towed
I ended up at poplars with 4 kids
Over tired cranky grizzly kids the manager went above and beyond I was in the office stressed out he have my kids a drink and some chips didnt cringe at their carrying on was super friendly let me know where everything was so I could keep some sanity
Even helped me cart everything to the cabin
The money spent on the cabin for the wk I thought was an excellent price would of cost a hell of a lot more at other parks
The kids had a blast
The cleaner did a fantastic job of keeping amenities clean even though I was in a cabin got amenities key as well they were always clean
Very family friendly place so what no play ground who cares plenty of parks around the place
Walking distance to everything
Will definitely stay here again
Sure its a 2 1/2 star rating but I loved it there
You get what you pay for
