ABOUT US:
Port Paws is an in-home pet-sitting business that allows you peace of mind that your pet is happy and safe in its own home while you’re away. We are animal lovers that come to your home and can either stay over or visit 1-2 times a day to feed, walk and hug your pet. As animal lovers, we are here to give your pets the same love and attention that you would give them if you were there.
Here at Port Paws, we offer a few different in-home pet sitting options. We begin with our base prices, with additional charges dependent on the following:
• Number of animals
• Distance to the property
• Medication to be administered
• Add on’s (e. g. dog bath & walks, nail trim)
ABOUT THE SITTERS:
We have 3 different pet sitters to cater to your animals.
Ruby: Ruby is available for in-home pet feeding once or twice a day, depending on the animal's needs. Ruby has 2 years of pet feeding experience and 9 years of foster caring experience with cats. She can also walk, bathe, clip nails, and administer medication if needed. She has worked in the animal industry since 2009 and has a Certificate III in Animal Studies.
Alicia: Alicia is available for in-home pet sitting or feeding once /twice a day. She is currently working towards her Certificate III in Animal Studies, and has some experience in pet sitting. Alicia is happy to take your dogs for walks, groom them and administer medication. She also has experience with small exotic animals such as rabbits, Guinea pigs and ferrets.
Rachael: Rachael is available for in-home pet sitting and dog walking. She loves animals and has her Certificate III in Animal Studies and a Certificate III in Captive Animals. She is also working towards her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has experience with dogs & cats while working at a boarding kennels and most farm animals. She is happy to bathe your animals, do nail trims and administer medication if required.
HOW WE WORK:
If you are interested in making a booking, please call or message us. When you provide us with the details and time we are required, we will be able to determine which sitter best meets your needs. From there, we will provide you with a quote and set up a meet and greet between you and the sitter. If you (and your pet) are happy with the sitter after meeting them, we will continue with the booking and payment.
