- Sandboarding Adventure
The Sandboarding Shuttle is the perfect soft adventure suitable for all ages. All equipment is provided and we show you the best and safest way to really have some fun on the dunes. When you have had all the fun you can handle, jump on the next shuttle available to take you back to the pick up point.
1. 5 hour Beach & Dune Tour
-The Beach and Dune Tour offer the perfect snapshot of this amazing landscape. Visit βTin Cityβ a cluster of fishing shacks made out of corrugated iron located right in the middle of the surrounding sand dunes. Learn about the history of the dunes and the flora and fauna living in this unique landscape. As an added bonus you can go sandboarding for as long as you like.
Private Charters
- Lead your own adventure in a PS4WD vehicle, accompanied with a qualified driver exclusively for your group. Our driver /guides will tailor a tour to suit your individual interests, with a maximum ratio of six passengers to one guide. Extend and enhance your experience with your own personal tour, and embrace what this slice of the NSW coast has to offer.

If you are not 100% sure you will enjoy sand boarding or if you are with small children who might get scared I recommend you ask to see the dunes first - departures are every 10 min - because they are unlikely to refund you.
We were a group of 5 and all of us bought sand boarding tickets. Unfortunately when we got up to the dunes one of us was too scared to slide down and realized it really wasn't for her, so she ended up sitting out the entire time. I thought surely when we got back and explained the situation the company would reimburse our friend. Instead they offered a lame excuse that because we paid by credit card there was no way they could refund us because it would mess up their books. I am sure if they wanted to they could have refunded my friend as a cash customer instead and their books wouldn't know the difference.
I was actually quite surprised at their response. I was disappointed to find out they cared more about their "books" than customer experience. Since there are other companies servicing Port Stephens dunes too, in the future my friends and I will try one of them like Tours R Us since it seems this one is just out to make another quick buck off you. :/
Exceptional experience. Totally worth it by driving 2.5+ hr all the way from Sydney. A must-try activity if you are spending more than 2 days in Sydney.

FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC ! This was the best value for money tour i have ever taken. Our driver and guide was very experienced, knowledgeable abd sensitive to the Worimi people of the area, past and present. We took the Tin City tour which was fascinating, the sand dunes are beautiful and today outlined by magnificent storm clouds and a cold front approaching. I felt transported to another world. Highly highly recommend this tour company.
Was good value fun. The bumpy shuttle ride was quite fun then when we got to the dunes, we got a briefing and away we go. Pretty easy and fun and no queues.
Defiantly bring extra water and a plastic bag if you carry anything you don't want sand in.
Excellent service worth every cent and worth goin back over and over again
