Port Stephens Accommodation

After getting let down with another accomodation site, booked through here and found it extremely easy. From pick up of keys to hour hour drop off, it was great. I'm about customer service and the staff were fantastic. Will be booking through here for future golf trips. Thank you

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Buyer Beware!! I have now had two genuinely bad experiences when booking holidays with Winning Holidays / Port Stephens Accommodation (part of the Alloggio Group). Most recently I paid a 50% deposit in Jan 2017 for a holiday house in Boat Harbour for Xmas-NYs 2017-18, BUT in October 2017 Winning Holidays contacted me to say the house was no longer available. They had no alternatives available in Boat Harbour so all I could do was seek a refund and search again by which time most houses were no longer available in the area. In 2015 (same period), after paying the deposit Winning Holidays contacted me several months later to say the rate had increased 30%, which made the house significantly more expensive than comparable properties. On neither occasion was an apology offered. I would highly recommend booking directly with owners on AirBnB or Stayz than through this agent.

Was extremely disappointed to arrive in Nelson bay early, spend the morning going around and then went to go and see if we could collect the keys early to our place only to find the office closed. Called security as it said on the door, he was unfriendly and quite rude, saying the ladies in the office had to come in at 2pm. Went away and came back to find a massive que all wiating at the door, so many unhappy customers. Then get to the desk to collect keys only to have office ladies complaining they shouldn't even be there as it's a long weekend. After I'd got my keys no apologies at all but rudely told I HAD to drop the keys back at 10am on our leaving day. Even though because they were so late in opening we didn't even get to our place at 2pm which is usual time. The whole time my husband was in the car with our poor screaming baby from waiting Soo long. Not happy at all and very unimpressed they could not even offer an apology especially as they are working in a service industry.

Staff at the office are wonderful and very accommodating. We have used Port Stephens Accommodation to book 4 separate stays in Nelson Bay over the last few years and the staff at the office have always been friendly and willing to help in any way they can and the holiday houses/units we have chosen have been excellent.

Do not rent :Unit 24/19-23 Dowling street unless you like staying in stuffy place with soft spongy beds. The owners will not allow you to turn on the aircon between 7pm to 7am. There is no air flowing through this place so it makes it hard to sleep at night time.

Excellent service who displayed great customer relations throughout our stay. Have been coming up here for many years and always use these guys. In particular Anne and Tracy bent backwards to help with everything they could.

I'll never trust these amateurs again. They called me 2 days before my long weekend stay to tell me they had double booked my accommodation - even though I had paid in full 2 weeks ago. Book through someone more reputable.
