We're hosting a Market next weekend Sunday 29 April for Mother's Day! We've been celebrating Australian wine producers with a series of dinners, the second Monday of everything Month. Coming up next is William (Bill) Downie from Gippsland, Victoria on Monday 9th April. In the intimate setting of WyNo Bar enjoy a night with Bill as he talks you through his terroir driven wines over great food. Below, a note from a recent interview;
Bill has an obvious love and affection for pinot noir, but it’s not his true love. He doesn’t want to make great pi...not noir; he wants to release great representations of the sites where the grapes – regardless of variety – are grown. “We have to give up the quest to be a winemaker and have faith in the site,” he says. “Concentrating on varieties is like allowing the choice of motor car to define the trip, rather than the destination.”

Porteño Events on Cleveland Street will be opening it's doors on Sunday 24 September from 1 pm - 5 pm to celebrate Argentina's beloved Malbec with our first ever Porteño Malbec Festival.
Jed Wines will be helping us show off some of Argentina's top wine producers as well as a few of our other favourite South American wines. Throughout the day you can soak up the atmosphere from above in Gardel's bar and enjoy snacks from the Porteño kitchen.
