Portland Pool

Portland & District Pool is one of only a few COMMUNITY owned pools in Australia.

This pool is run by a committee of people who maintain and look after this facility voluntarily in their spare time.

This facility was built many years ago by the community of Portland to reduce the instances of children swimming in the quarries.

We rely on people coming to our pool to keep this facility running. We are thankful to all local organisations who make donations, locals who support our raffles and to the Lithgow Council for the support that has been given in the past.

So, please spread the word about our wonderful facility so that we can keep it running, now and into the future.
