The best chicken & chips in the Mountains

Great food but terrible service. One staff member doesn't seem to understand English it took an embarrassing 5 minutes to communicate what i wanted. The chips are really worth it though. One of the best in the mountains.

Very rude guy staff. He even yelled to us for just moving the tables. Doesn't know proper customer service. Not recommended.

Ordered hot chips for 20 teenagers over the phone and told the staff I wanted to pick them up in 20 minutes. Rocked up 20 minutes later and waited in line for 10 minutes so no problems at this stage. Get up to the counter and tell him my name and what I ordered over the phone. He knows the order but its not ready. I wait for 40 minutes and realise that he hasn't even started my order. That take about 10 minutes to cook 1 batch of chips so I estimate that I'm going to be waiting another 40 minutes and walk out. I was not informed over the phone that my order would be over 1.5 hours. Another lady had been waiting for 1.5 hours and was still waiting when I left. Lots of other people were complaining as well. Not sure why they were so slow they only had 2 staff on, which for a Sunday lunch is pretty bad. There might have been something wrong with their equipment to make the chips because they seemed ridiculously slow at cooking them. The staff on duty may have been caretakers while the regulars where on holidays or it has been newly taken over as I can't see how they have ever received a review above 2/5
