Press Pause Mindfulness Description
Press Pause Mindfulness offers you a professional, small-group mindfulness experience over 8 structured yet informal weekly sessions. The Program is based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program devised in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn and which is now practiced throughout the world by thousands of people.
Over 8 weeks, Anne Peckham (BA(Psych & Soc); BSW; MHSc), experienced psychotherapist and mindfulness instructor, takes a small group of people, ranging from beginners to those more experienced in mindfulness and meditation, through a series of modules design to impart mindfulness skills to aide in stress reduction and to de-clutter the mind.
Each session builds on the last, with a gentle progression from raising your self-awareness through to living consciously in the moment.
