Primary Medical Centre Corrimal

Our experience at this place makes us feel really lucky we don’t live here, otherwise we would have to rely on these people for our ongoing healthcare needs. My girlfriend fell down some stairs, and quite obviously broke her hand. We have now been here nearly three hours. The sole doctor on duty simply does not care. We have had an opportunity to speak to others here, and everyone has the same complaint. We are now waiting for an X-ray, even though we saw a nurse on arrival, she said we had to see the doctor before getting that referral (in the same practice). The doctor showed interest only in making sure we signed th bit of paper that made sure he got paid. No examination, no touching, he didn’t even look at the various parts of her body that had been injured in the fall. It was all he could do to stay awake. God forbid if you had anything serious wrong, like the guy who was bleeding from his anus, or the young boy with a broken hand. Avoid this place if you can, although the mother of the young boy tells me the other doctors (other than dr David Allan) were pretty good. Why this man chose medicine is beyond me.

I was in the area with my family, and had to visit for one of my kids.
We were able to see a doctor straight away, and they were great with the way they handled my child's complain.

One star is too high to rate. Worst medical centre ever, we were the only people waiting and with only one doctor I thought happy days we'll be seen straight away, how wrong I was 50 mins later in an empty frickin centre for just two minutes to be seen. I could go on and on but my patience is gone, thanks to the so called Dr Allen 😤😤

Seen any of the Drs and all very professional and polite. As for the wait longest has been 40 minutes passed easily by reading a book.

Only ever one doctor available. My wait was almost 3 hours. I left and went elsewhere. I don't know why I remained there for the lengthy duration?!

For such a lovely, modern new medical centre which offers most services this is disgraceful to only have the one doctor. I won't be returning with my family for this reason. Many people I know are not returning also.

the longest wait time i have ever experienced at a medical center

I went to see a GP and was greeted at reception by 2 pleasant young girls. Who took my details and was told there were 4 patients in front. We waited an hour which was quite quick without an appointment. The doctor who seen us was very professional and polite.

Arrived on easter Saturday morning to be greeted by a passive aggressive , uninterested reception , who took my details and waved me to a seat after 30 mins I approached the desk and enquired about the wait time again poor attitude "oh about 21/2 hours " REALLY , you don't think this is worth mentioning at the time of booking in oh and after 2 hours of waiting you have to pay for parking !!!!!!

Brand new, modern medical centre with gp, dentist & pathology on site - best of all, short wait time and the good thing is open until 10pm at night
