The Primary Teachers' Network (PTN) will promote, represent and support primary teachers (K- 6) in New South Wales Schools and provide advocacy for the primary teaching profession.
Primary Teachers' Network (Ptn) Description
The Primary Teachers' Network (PTN) is an innovative approach to professional learning for primary teachers. A delivery system is provided to members for the distribution of information and resources and the development of primary teacher networks using a technological framework. This will include links to current research, current exemplary practice, existing associations, and a full range of state and national organisations.
Accredited professional learning opportunities will be guided by exemplary facilitators using a combination of face to face, online and offline activities. Each of these unique programs will incorporate at least two Key Learning Areas and will be accessible throughout NSW via regional hubs as well as video conferencing technology.
