Provision Safety

Provision Safety specialises in the provision of industrial training, and sales of high quality height safety and confined space equipment.

Provision Safety has grown out of a lifetime of industry experience across the agriculture, civil construction, manufacturing, transport and warehousing sectors and 7 years in the training industry. What we found was that within these industries many companies struggled with one or more of the following three issues:
Training: Inability to acquire appropriate or adequate information, training and instruction for workers undertaking high risk activities.
Safety Equipment Inspection: Nil or inadequate inspection of lifting and slinging, heights safety, and confined spaces safety equipment.
Equipment Sales: Challenges in appropriate selection, purchasing and use of heights and confined spaces safety equipment.

Provision Safety has developed a three part approach to workplace safety to assist industry meet these challenges.

1. Training: Provision Safety works through strategic partnerships with some of Australia finest Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) to deliver Government Funded and Fee for Service training and accreditation in:
• Height Safety
• Confined Space Safety
• Use Breathing Apparatus
• Forklift high risk licence
• EWP high risk licence
• EWP Yellow card – BL, TL & SL
• Earthmoving equipment: Excavator, Backhoe, Skid Steer, Front end loader
• Load and unload plant
• Secure cargo
Training is delivered on site and contextualised to your employees unique working environment.

2. Logbook Inspection & Maintenance: As you would be aware, the WHS regulations requires that a PCBU ensures PPE is maintained, repaired or replaced so that it continues to minimise risk to the worker who uses it, including by ensuring that the equipment is clean and hygienic; and in good working order.

o Provision safety offer a PPE management plan that includes 6 monthly (or more often as the working environment may demand) inspection of PPE and digital logbook recording process as recommended by AS /NZS1891. 1 to help industry meet their duty of care for maintenance and repair of these specialised products.

o A good PPE management system will help you understand how your staff are using their PPE, track equipment life cycle, help guide training requirements of staff by identifying wear on equipment as a result of miss use, assist in budgeting for replacement equipment by gaining a clearer picture of equipment longevity.

3. Safety Equipment Sales: Choosing the right heights and confined space safety equipment can be a challenge and one that can either leave staff avoiding using (or miss using) the product because it makes the task more cumbersome or uncomfortable, or praising the purchasing officer because their choice is impeccable.
