Pugs and Paws is a family owned and operated small dog breeding business located in South West Sydney Australia

Our love of all things Pug, began when a family member's Pug had the most adorable puppies we had ever seen!

Our Daughter, Sheldon, has always been a huge animal lover and so upon leaving school she began her studies to become a Veterinary Nurse.

Sheldon has a Certificate IV in Animal Studies and

an (uncompleted) Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Sheldon's dream of being a Veterinary Nurse was shattered when she developed a Rare Genetic Illness, that causes every joint in her body to dislocate.

So after over 5 years of studying and working as a Vet Nurse, she had to give up her passion of working with animals, as her body could not handle the physical work any longer.

During Sheldon's studies she found a love of unique dog breeds for companion animals and so Pugs and Paws was started as a way that Sheldon could still have her much loved animals in her life, despite her illness and spread the joy of these beautiful companions to other loving families.
