I decided to treat my kids to an overnight stay in a beautiful hotel and Pullman at Hyde Park ensured it was a amazing experience to have. It was their birthday and at check in the gentleman made a mention of it , which to twin 10 year old boys brought a smile to their face. On opening the door to our amazing room, two delicious chocolate birthday cakes were awaiting us, which was so touching the boys immediately wrote a thank you letter and handed in to the check in counter. The view from our room was amazing, the shower and bath perfect, the beds very comfortable and our favourites - the pool and jacuzzi - were the highlight. Any staff we came into contact with were helpful, friendly and warm.. The boys have now requested a repeat stay there for every birthday :).

The staff on reception both checking in and checking out were poor at best. Upon arrival we had to find our own trolley to take our bags from the car to our room and when checking out they tried to charge us for our room again not withstanding we had prepaid - it took saying we wouldn’t be back coupled with showing bank account to get them to accept we had paid. Of all the reception staff Kevin who arrange our taxi the night before departure was the only one interested in serving. The restaurant staff on the other hand were awesome

Firstly, I was compelled to went up and down twice to level 19 with my luggage because non-working key was given twice. Never happened to me before.

Secondly, I was given a room which I think wasn't occupied for at least a month. The room appeared clean but bed was full of dust. I developed itching, sneezing and itchy eyes. I found bed was full of dust. Never happened in any hotels in my life.

When reported I was given a different room.

Pullman comes without the frills. I spent a week at the Sheraton in Prague a week before I traveled to Sydney and was hoping for a little more glam that we've come to expect of hotels. Their staff at the front desk is very helpful, so an extra star for that. The rooms are spacious, ample closet space for long haul guests. They have a safe that really comes in handy. The tiny study in the main living area of the rooms is great for those traveling on business. The entertainment is dated but you can hardly blame the Pullman for that. I wish their rooms weren't as gaudy and dark and broody as they end up being. Pullman does have a 'pillow menu' - I haven't seen these anyplace else and was rather impressed by the thought that went into this. To sum it up, the staff makes up for any feelings of less than euphoric.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay except for apparent renovations on the floor above us. Drilling at around 3:30 in the afternoon and workers noise at 7:45am the next morning.

We stayed in room 2003 on the night of September 27.

That said, the staff we came into contact with all great but special thanks to Paula who met us on arrival and made sure our stay was going to be pleasant. Also Paul who looked after our meal & canapes requirements.

Received a free night to make up for our poor experience a year ago. We also chose to pay for the night before. We were very pleased to find none of the issues previously experienced - no sign that any of the level of systemic disconnect was evident. The reservations team had called to follow up on the booking and made sure the two bookings were linked so we could stay in the same room (I had booked the first night to match the level of the complimentary room). Our arrival and departure process were smooth. The room 1915 was fine - did notice scrunched up paper in the cupboards near the door. We had dinner at Restaurant 36 on the first night which was very nice. The barman (Phil?) is very personable and looked after us well. We used the executive lounge for breakfast on Saturday and canapés Saturday evening - friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast on a Sunday at the restaurant was nice- good range. Overall happy that we came back and likely to stay again.

This was our first family holiday since my son arrived and the Pullman did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with an extremely high level of customer service from all staff. The room was fantastic with great facilities and I could not fault the experience at all. We had informed the hotel we were staying with our 3 month old son and they had arranged a crib without question. We will be returning to the Pullman again and recommending all our friends, families and work colleagues to stay there also.

The hotel was nice, comfortable room and great bathroom. The breakfast was great, even though due to personal matters I didn't end up getting to eat more than a tiny amount! The gym and pool area is really nice and the sauna was fantastic. We had room service and the quality of the food was very good. Overall it was one of the best stays I've had for work. I plan to return again.

My husband and myself enjoyed the warm friendly helpful attitude of the staff in reception, Club room and bar area. Our room was clean, attractive and most comfortable. The bathroom excellent, clean and well planned. If we continue to be members of Le Club Accorhotel it will be mainly because of our wish to stay in your hotel in Sydney. For many years until last year our hotel of choice was the Intercontinental however since their club no longer exists we chose to use our LeClub membership in Sydney at Pullman Hyde Park and have been delighted with the experience. Thank you to your staff and especially thank whoever has provided such excellent training.

Room was really nice and spacious, staff friendly on front desk. breakfast was nice but you were definitely short staffed when your offering free breakfasts. the poor manager was being reprimanded but he was doing the best he could do with that amount of staff. great position.

The room was very nice. Staff were quite friendly and more than helpful. The breakfast was really nice and The gentleman who greeted us at breakfast made our morning so special. His energy and kind nature made our day!
