I'm Lane, candle maker extraordinaire but always a wife and mamma of 2 FIRST! I LOVE burning a good candle on the daily, so a $40-$50 candle from large retailers wasn't a luxury that I could keep up! SO I started making them, more fragrant and much more affordable!
Making candles has been a hobby of mine for the past 6 years and turning hobby in to a business doesn't feel like work. I love what I do!
The "WHY" behind Pure Meltdown
My son Hamilton was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in February 2015. He had just turned 2. The day before we got his results, my husband suffered an injury at work and as a result, he was unable to work. It was a big blow to our little family but something had to be done.
Fast forward to today and here we are at PURE MELTDOWN!
Candle making is therapeutic for me. I have fun with it and I think that shows in my work. All my candles are lovingly hand poured and treated with individual care. I take pride in my work and I love seeing my customers happy.
