This is the latest; 6:44AM BEMBOKA FIRE UPDATE
... John Cullen from the RFS says crews working on the Bemboka fire NW of Bega will be in "property protection mode" today.
Mr Cullen says there's still large smoke plumes in the area and active fire in the national park.
Firefighters haven't been able to get into areas to confirm property damage & say more info expected to come out later today.
"This won't go out tomorrow and the weather conditions pushing into the weekend, heavier wind coming into the weekend at least we'll have time to plan and work with control lines to try and quieten this fire down."

1. STELLA, Stelly is a ball and stick obsessed pup who loves nothing more than riding in her Dads Crusier across the desert. She’s a smoochy girl who wags her entire body to say hello. (YES, we do have matching flys in this photo 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣)
... 2. GEM, This little stunner is the most clever pup I’ve ever met. She loves to chase a ball or stick and If desperate times call for it, she’ll bring you a 1CM stick to throw, which she promptly returns. Gem looks after all the patrons at Mount Dare Pub
3. DINGO, well, this little fellow doesn’t have a name, but it’s difficult not to fall for those beautiful faces and cheeky demeanours
