Pyrmont Bay

Walked here from the Fish Market to catch a ferry. This is Prymont Bay, just at the tip of Darling Harbour.
Pyrmont itself is a pretty interesting neighbourhood to explore. And if you’re short on time like me, it’s hard press to choose between ordering the catch of the day for an alfresco lunch at the Sydney Fish Market, or decking the cards at the casino or taking in the sights at the museum. By the Pyrmont Bay, one of the more interesting ones is the Australian National Maritime Museum.
Taking the long view of King Street Wharf from the western side of Darling Harbour. Pyrmont Bay sits at the north tip of Darling Harbour, home to many major attractions and facilities. Outside of the Australian National Maritime Museum, there’s also a large convention center with a large shopping complex, Sydney’s casino, The Star as well as the Sydney Aquarium which is actually pretty good. This entire area is a pretty place to take a stroll at night. What I love to do is to actually walk the area, and then take the ferry from the wharf and then enjoy the view of the harbour over boat as it leaves towards Circular Quay. It’s a one of the best places to soak in the city skyline, both day and night.

One of the best tram stops. Safe feeling, elevator access and quite clean. Just simple great service and experience.
