Queanbeyan Paper Shop

Very difficult for me to contemplate a recent poor review of the Queanbeyan Paper Shop (QPS) on this site. While she has my empathy regarding her situation (being on the phone about her sick father while simultaneously seeking service from the counter), in my mind the customer's experience as related by her, must have be an unfortunate misunderstanding during an obviously stressful time for her.

So, I am providing a review of QPS from an opposite perspective.

I have been utilising the great service at the QPS for my newspapers, lotto tickets and stationery 3 or 4 times a week over the past decade or so, since Rod and Margaret took ownership, and I have nothing but praise for both of them and their staff. Never seeming pushed even in rush hour/s, they are always friendly, helpful, efficient, articulate and even cheeky sometimes, much to my delight.

QPS's top shelf service is everpresent. I have never witnessed any other customers experiencing anything other than the high level of customer contentment that I receive every visit.

The one complaint I do have, though, is that QPS has never sold me the winning lotto ticket that I continually seek! 😀
