This is a wonderful building. It has beautiful decorations and has an entertaining atmosphere. It's also an ideal place for shopping, dining, meetups and hangouts as the train line connects you to it. Plus, there are many shops where you can find things that are high quality and quirky.

Great shopping centre inside a heritage building that has been faithfully restored. Cafes and restaurants on upper levels serve great food and cakes with coffee! Underground connection to busy Town Hall train station.

QVB is definitely one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in Sydney. It's been around for ages and most of it has been left in-tact; check out the restrooms, you'll be surprised 😎
The decorations r always so beautiful and seasonal. Head to the top and watch the clock chime ☺️ don't bother with the shopping experience tho, it's mostly boring upscale overpriced stores 😓 but the cafes are nice for a date 😝

I remember the excitement when this opened in its current form; it truly is a stunningly elegant space and I'm so glad that it wasn't knocked down or ruined. The selection of stores is a bit more for tourists than locals but there are still many places to enjoy, including cafes and other eating spots, and I've always loved Victoria's Basement; half my kitchen is outfitted from there. Even if you just walk through it will lift your spirits.

Lovely quaint shopping mall with a nice mix of boutique shops along with popular brands. It is completely indoors and it's not too large so a great place to stroll through. The building itself also has a lot of character and history both inside and outside. One of Sydney's best. Connected to Town Hall railway station.

Always lovely to come here. Check out the Dr Seuss museum on the top floor. Lovely place to spend an afternoon wandering the shops

Its a different experience in a way. On top of the Train Station is located the Queen Victoria Building. It has great shops like Coffee, Eateries, Shoes and Apparel, Jewelry, Mobile Shop, ATMs, Top Brands. So a nice place to stop by while getting on or off the train. Just that at times while drinking coffee or eating it can get quite noisy because of the public crossing due to the train station, which is quite disturbing, otherwise its a sophisticated place. Overall Good.

The Best looking building in Australia. Stained windows very impressive and the Monarchy clock that is very interesting and fun to watch. The lift is probably the best lift around. Love the spiral staircase that leads to the roof. Very expensive stores inside.

It is amazing that this iconic Sydney landmark retains its historic architectural charm while serving so many functions and having so many visitors. It contains many shops and cafes; and there are often art displays and public performances. Older style amenities are available and kept in working order. Many openings and connections underground make it a hub for foot traffic. It is conveniently located with many transport options. Many other attractions are nearby.

We love a good memory at the QVB, and here's one of our favourite celebrity sightings from Joe Bananas Australia when Sir Elton John came in for a visit in 1986!
Joe Bananas is one of the original retailers at the QVB and they recalled fondly - ŌĆ£The first week the store was open at the QVB; we had a beautiful coat displayed in the window featuring Australian emblems. Elton JohnŌĆÖs manager, John Reid, was in the QVB at the time, came in, bought it for Elton and went back to a yacht in Sydney Harbour where Elton was being entertained. Within an hour, three limousines pulled up, and in came Elton with his party all dressed in swimmers. He said, 'IŌĆÖll have this, and thisŌĆ”oh what the hell, IŌĆÖll have the whole thing.' He signed his credit card and away he went.ŌĆØ

Created during dire times in the city of Sydney, our building's elaborate Romanesque architecture was planned to ensure many out-of-work craftsmen - stonemasons, plasterers, and stained window artists had ongoing work. The result was a picturesque piece that continues to provide experiences and value to our city and those who visit it. ¤ōĘ: @f_ett

We were there to enjoy my aunties 70th. Very disappointed the upholstery was filthy with great big dark stains on the chairs..

wasn't happy ¤śÜ
