I specialise in one-to-one piano lessons for young children.
I teach from beginners to advanced, for exams or leisure.
I believe a child needs a friendly and caring approach from a teacher to gain a positive and rewarding experience from learning piano.
I provide lessons in your home, Randwick (Eastern Suburbs of Sydney) and neighbouring suburbs. I approach each student individually taking in to consideration individual learning styles, musical goals and interests.

Having prepared many students for AMEB exams from Preliminary to 8th grade, I find this approach to be a great motivation for students with the desire to challenge themselves in a more classical style of learning the piano.
Exams are not for everyone, however, and for those who would like to learn in a more relaxed style with mimimun pressure and more room for learning music of their choice, I can offer lessons that include popular music, learning to play chords, improvisation, composition or any area of the student’s interest.
I also teach introductory lessons to the earliest beginner or the later beginner with a positive, patient and encouraging approach.

I have taught piano for 17 years. My extensive and varied experience includes early childhood and group keyboard lessons, individual piano tuition in numerous private schools and at my home studio. I also have extensive experience as an accompanist for AMEB exams, HSC performances and other school performances.
