Randwick City Library - Lionel Bowen Library

Great library with wonderful facilities and extras such as a toy library, nice cafe downstairs and numerous community events. We are so lucky to have this service.

The library is a great place to browse and read newspapers, periodicals, magazines, etc. There is a Kids area where kids can study and play too.

It is sooo loud! I couldn't focus at all. I moved seats 3 times then decided to leave. Why is it so hard to find a library on the weekends that is actually quiet :( I wish the uni library's were open 7 days a week

It's great except I think they should stick to one teacher with the kids events . roger is great very enthuastic with the kids and gets into the singing /dancing , as well as keeping the kids in order , it's a shame his not doing it anymore

These libraries are awesome. We paid $43 and could borrow a lot of toys to play, this is really a budget savior. Also, a good option on the rainy day -
they have lots of toys indoors. The coffee on the 1st floor is awesome.

Good collection of children books, a lot of toys to borrow and great place for kids to play. A lot of groups for all ages to attend. Lift is awful though. Coffee on the ground floor is nearly perfect.

Love the children's area here, lots of toys. The library also has a lot of cosy pockets of space and bean bags around so it's very relaxing. The lift is terrible though, extremely slow and small, so people with prams or wheelchairs have to wait forever, especially if there's an event and the lift is often full.

Great place to work.
1 GB fast wi-fi and quiet and peaceful environment.
