Imported vehicles require compliance with ADRs (Australian Design Rules), these have to be performed by a RAWs (Registered Automotive Workshop), this is a Federal Government scheme that has very rigid standards to operate under.
A RAW must have an accredited ISO 9001: 2008 operating system in place and be regularly inspected to show conformity of production /operating procedures.
