If you want to go to a proper sports store then go to Peter Wynn's at Parramatta or Mick Simmons on Pitt Street. Rebel Sport is utter tosh.

Pretty wide selection and fair location. PETER on cashier at about 3:30pm on 30/9/2017 is worth more money. A lot of places have their best in sales and not so good on cashiers, but Peter inspired this review because of his awesome attitude and very helpful service. Keep it up mate you're very refreshing.

Closed its doors at 6:30pm, when it advertises 7pm. Way to waste my time!

Staff are polite enough, however if you want the full Waratahs stock you need to come in at the start of the season.

Rebel Sport is shite at Broadway and the service is pretty much non-existent. Sometimes in the past when I have been there I have seen the staff hiding in the change rooms or behind equipment because they don't want to serve you or do any work.

It's a shame that Rebel Sport has such a monopoly on the sportswear market because they are terrible, I live in Newtown but I'd rather catch a train to Peter Wynn's at Parramatta.

Despite the store's size, you often won't find exactly what you're looking for. They cater for practically every sport, but it also means that their product range and stock is pretty thin for a particular activity. You'll furthermore find that the product range is pretty haphazard, in that they'll have the shorts but not the accompanying shirt and vice versa. Staff is friendly enough, but isn't too knowledgeable about sportswear / gear. So if you want to pop in to get some basic gear, this place most often does the trick. If you're coming in with certain expectations, be prepared for some disappointment. Tip for management: improve downstairs fitting area.

Lots of variety for every sport activity you practice. I have bought many things here and always get good fast service.

It's quite nice. Cheap sports clothes, shoes and stuff. I just hope they have more sales.
