What an expensive waste, just send your kids to a public school they really won't be missing out on anything (except $2000 rowing classes).

Waste of money.

Great school if you're a devout Anglican/Christian:
-Mandatory chapel every week
-Mandatory Christian Studies till year 10

Other 'highlights' include:
-Sitting on the floor of the hall/gym until your legs are about to fall off and you have the back of an 80 year old man
-Very strict (and sexist) uniform code (no jewellery except studs, girls must have their hair tied back and their dresses at knee-length)
-Terrible excursions (Mandatory camp is one week long and is more about surviving the wilderness than having fun and making friends, class-specific excursions happen rarely and tend to be equally unexciting)
-A mess of a design department that's never organised and is always switching around when you'll be doing what assessments
-A bunch of extra expenses (on top of the ridiculous tuition you have to pay for the uniform, sports equipment, some art supplies if you do art, a bunch of books which will end up costing you hundreds of dollars, your own REDLANDS bag, and your own Apple computer)
-Mandatory Representative sport (sport which involves competing against other schools)
-Way too many awards and the giving out of said awards taking place at assemblies and using up valuable time
-Pretty bad language courses (the head of the language department's native language is English, I've experienced the Spanish and French courses)
-An okay at best canteen with a line that is filled with line jumpers (people who jump under the rail in front of you to stand with their friends)
-A rule against using the bag they make you buy to carry your books from class to class
-Mandatory 'Swim Carnival' and 'Athletics Carnival', which, if you aren't athletic, you'll be doing absolutely nothing at. Plus, the semi-equivalent 'Gala Arts' (which is an evening rather than whole-day event) is optional, which seems unfair.

And don't you worry, this school has many more wonderful 'quirks' to offer...
