A Correction to my last post, Copeton is the only waterway open to COD FISHING for the next 3 months that has plenty of big fish for all fisherman :-) you can even catch them 2 AT A TIME
Well as the COD SEASON draws to a close all over NSW now is the time to be heading to Copeton.
From September 1st to the end of November COPETON is your only choice to chase Green Fish in NSW. It can also produce some of the best fishing and biggest fish of the year. My PB came in on the 24th Sept a couple of years ago.
Just goes to show if you keep on keeping on the results will come.
It seems that lots of people have stories about being bogged at Copeton.

I wasn't going to do this to Curtis but I see he has already posted, so this is why you never drive close to the edge at Copeton especially when water levels are dropping. :-(

To do it in comfort contact our staff to book a Cabin for this week, we have availability in standard Cabins during this week. All cabins have reverse cycle air-conditioning to warm you up after a fishing session.

As part of a proactive program of infrastructure upgrades and safety improvements across the group’s inland holiday parks, guests are advised to refuel at the park’s fuel station or prior to park entry rather than bringing their own fuel into the park.
The park’s fuel station and kiosk are available for visitors Sunday through Thursday from 8:30am to 4:00pm, with the facilities staying open an extra hour until 5:00pm on Friday and Saturday.
