Restaurant Botanica

We had an amazing dinner at Restaurant Botanica! Desert was the standout - order the coconut ice cream, passionfruit, pineapple, white chocolate ;)

Food was delish, local wine list, very warm service! One of my favourite restaurant in the Hunter Valley. Open space makes it feel very welcoming and you just want to stay there whole afternoon!

Excellent meal good ingredients decent prices for the quality. Of course it is a nouvelle cuisine style portions so don't expect to come stuffed out of this place. Very helpful and friendly staff.

I reckon this is the best meal I had in Hunter. Starting with their home made sourdough and butter! Beautiful creamy full-bodied butter to their excellent meals. Each ingredient blends well with each other along with beautiful vineyard and country setting! Love it! Will be back. Coffee could be better though!

OMG. The food here is absolutely amazing. One of the best I've been to. Absolutely delicious. Great ambiance too. A real gem. Will definitely be back.

We booked this restaurant as one of the highlights for our trip. We arrived on a Saturday evening at the booking time. Only to find out that they had no record of our booking. They sat us down and offered us a drink whilst they located a table for us. I would not like to have to find a restaurant at 7:30 on a Saturday evening!!! A table was found and my Son and I were asked if we wanted a drink? We asked for a beer, the girls were not asked and our beers arrived, at the same time as they asked my son's girl friend and my wife if they would like a drink. We had to ask a second time for the girls drink whilst our beers got steadily warmer and flatter! The food saved the evening, but I would not be rushing back to this or any of the other establishments owned by Mr Turner.

Interestingly, I provided this review for trip adviser and they never published it? which made me look at the other reviews I had posted and I noticed that another review had been removed! Interesting do trip adviser bend to establishments wishes??? Or is it $
