We're super excited to announce that this year's Ethiopian coffees have landed. Earlier this year Reece headed over to Africa to source old favourites and new coffees to bring back to Reuben Hills and with coqualab's assistance and their local knowledge it was all made possible. - Join us next Thursday 5pm as we cup all the Ethiopian coffees we've sourced.

This week we released a new coffee from Nyeri County, Kenya. The Wachuri AB is produced by the 816 active members of the Wachuri Farmers' Cooperative Society. The land farmed by the Wachuri Coop sit at 1400 masl and all coffees produced are wet milled within the coop. Pictured here are members at the drying table. - Roasted as espresso expect notes of jam, white chocolate and raisins.

Meet Kin by us, a cafe located in Macquarie Park plating up an exciting all day menu with seasonal, fresh and tasty dishes with flavours that are asian-inspired. We've had the pleasure of working with them since 2014 and wouldn't change a single thing! Drop in for a bite and coffee! Rg: kinbyus

Awesome place but, unlike most Surry hills cafes, is not puppy-friendly. Just an fyi for anyone who carries their little pooches around for coffee :)

User

Staff were unwelcoming. Food was very average and overpriced. Will never go back. Would not recommend.

User

The coffee was great and the interior decor makes it a reputable place. Just not a huge fan of the food at the price it was: my brioche bun was soaking from the water off the salad and my mate's muesli was drenched in water off the strawberries. Highly recommend on the coffee but not the food.

User

Interior is awesome but coffee was surprisingly bad. I ordered a three quarter latte and my girl friend ordered an iced coffee. After a long wait the waiter put it on the table and called it a three quarter iced latte. Incorrect. Then he apologised and said that it was the iced coffee. Funnily enough it was only three quarters full. For five bucks it was a joke. My three quarter latte arrived later and was weak and lukewarm. Really surprised as I had heard lots of hype about this place. The interior and branding was the best thing about this place.

Reuben hills

The Cappuccino was spot on, the wagyu brisket sandwich was very tasty, the atmosphere was nice.
Portion sizes are a bit on the fancy side which is not necessarily a bad thing but different from what I'm used to.
All in all It's a good place worth the visit just don't go there starving like I did or you'll be spending a bit more than expected 👍

User

the best chicken burger ive had in Australia by far. it acutally tastes different if that makes sense. great vibe. looking forward to coming back already

User

Heard so many great things about this place but unfortunately my experience was quite lacklustre. My espresso (Brazil) was quite bland and my friend's cold brew tasted confusing with a wedge of lemon...? Was promised that the "Not Reuben" sandwich was amazing, but in fact it was very unexciting... perhaps if the meat were pulled out of the sandwich I would've just eaten that by itself and it would've been better. My other friend enjoyed her French toast though. Sorry guys not impressed that the "best place to eat in Surry Hills" was a let down.

User

Really big fuckn chicken was not that large at all. Looked like a breast fillet dropped in a deep fryer. Definitely not worth the $19.5 for an overrated deconstructed burrito. Also not worth the stomach cramps throughout the night from the pink pieces of chicken scattered throughout the chicken breast.
The coffee shake was nice but the size again was lacking.

User

Best soft baked eggs ever!! Chic indoor decorations. They also sell coffee beans, tees, books and tote bag. Nice place for having a brunch over the weekend.

Reuben Hills has been a major player in the brunch market of Surry Hills still drawing crowds to this day. There's a variety of food from basic flavours to the more adventurous flavour combinations. Coffee here is always exceptional and makes it worth the wait.

User

great ambience, nice restroom, great service, fantastic beef sandwiches and baked eggs. their coffee was above average! would definitely head back again.

User

Popped in for a quick mid week lunch with one of my friends and although we had to wait for a seat, we were seated fairly quickly at a nice table. We had a burger and a sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious!! Was not a huge fan of the Grapefruit juice. Overall a great little spot and will be back for sure!! Staff were really friendly.

User

Solid coffee, but BEST food at a cafe I've had in Sydney... great portions. Great vibes as well. Well-done.
