Very good food and coffees. Relaxed feel and located in a nice area.

Really disappointing, was told there would be a five minute wait. Waited outside for ten, brought inside no table's still and waited for another twenty minutes and still no table. We left and was told to be reasonable on waiting. It's simple expectation setting. Get it right.

One of the best cafes I've been to in Sydney. The food is excellent, they regularly have interesting specials to try (rather than always serving up a standard menu) and the prices are very reasonable. Often a bit of a queue on weekends but worth it!

My favourite cafe in Annandale. Food and coffee is very good, can get busy on the weekends. Always has a great buzz.

Really cute place with nice ambiance, furniture and crockery. Coffee is great and cakes look yummy too.
Menu is a bit limited - bacon and egg rolls are a good classic, and the French toast is a good sweet option that isn't too sweet.

Have been coming here for years and always enjoy myself. The staff and the owner in particular are friendly and genuine. Inside is charming and old-world. Lots of interesting options on the menu to suit all appetites, with a revolving range of cakes on the counter.

I went to this cafe for lunch based on the reviews (so thank you everyone!). I'm always excited to find new places to dine in other suburbs. I had the veggie big breakfast. It was delicious and superbly prepared. Make sure you're hungry because I underestimated the size of this meal. It could also make for a great share plate. The street is quiet, the building is iconic, the coffee is bold and smooth, the interior is homely, the staff are attentive and friendly. Great choice of music in the background while I was there, too. I look forward to trying something different next time. Oh, but the VBB was so good!

My partner and I come here every 2-3 weeks and have yet to be disappointed.
We have tried just about everything on the menu and find the quality and price really great value.
Their coffee is amazing and the baristas certainly know what they're doing.
They have a great selection of breakfast/lunch options and they always have a specials board for off the menu options.
The range of cakes and biscuits is pretty impressive too, if you feel like a light snack afterwards.
There's usually a wait if you come smack bang in the middle of the day on a weekend, but it's never been more than 15 mins. If you do sit outside there's heat lamps and complimentary blankets with each seat to keep you warm.
5/5 this place is excellent.
