*** I wore all black and put up a black sheet behind me and the increased the contrast heaps so you couldn't see my clothes, and upped the contrast a little bit on my face because my phone quality did not give it justice thats the only editing done on this one incase anyone was wondering ****

Yesterday I participated in the worlds greatest shave there a few things I have learnt from this experience;
Losing my hair makes me realise how horrible cancer is; I was prepared for my hair loss, I had a choice to lose it. That is a choice that so many of us do not have, hair can be such an important part of the way we see ourselves, our worth, our confidence and the way others see us.
To think about how difficult it must be to have your hair fall out and knowing that you ...have to get rid of it all and then realize this is only the tip of the iceburg. There are so many different things that cancer grabs on to and destroys. it wreaks havoc on you internally, mentally, physically and spiritually. And that is something I can not simply fathom by shaving my own head.
So to everyone out there fighting a battle with cancer, or who have fought and conquered cancer, I salute you. You are amazing brave and strong human beings and most importantly you are BEAUTIFUL.
