UPDATE FRIDAY: Crops struggling to keep up with the crowds so we'll have to close the sheds today. So sorry to disappoint people - keep your fingers crossed the sun stays out and ripens for the weekend!

UPDATE WEDNESDAY: Still a bit sparse. Plenty of fruit on the way but it will need a few sunny days to ripen. We'll open shed one and two today but it's pretty light in there so get in early!

Our strawberries are at the green stage at the moment but should burst through into red plump juicy fruit in a few weeks. So sorry to disappoint our visitors, however our tomatoes and gourmet products are plentiful and the café is a great stop just off the highway any day of the week.

It's the second week of school holidays but there's still plenty of fruit to be picked! Come on out and join the hunt.

Our strawberry shed has been picked over and picked out at this stage. However our new crop is looking good for the school holidays in a few weeks time. We still have our beautiful tomatoes available along with many gourmet products and a café open 9am-3pm. I hope all our holiday makers and travellers have enjoyed the Easter break and thank you for visiting Ricardoes.

As we head into the last week of the holidays we are very 'light on" with strawberries so mornings are best to pick your own. However plenty of our award winning tomatoes available from the shop, also beautiful gourmet products and a café to cater for most taste buds. The scones are delicious! Open 7 days 9am-5pm with the café closing at 3pm.

I wanted to take my kids there on the Public Holiday Monday. I rang up at 8:37am and asked if they were open to pick Strawberries. The man on the phone said they were open 7 days a week. We got there an hour later and the lady said they ran out of strawberries the day before...they could have told me that when a called.



We would often go there but not anymore. Poor management and miscommunication on their behalf.
