Thank you, Oyster Bay for taking part and voting on the amazing art work submissions that we received. Sian & I would like thank all of the artists who submitted work to the competition. We will be in touch with you all over the next week or so to arrange a time for you to come in for coffee and cake.

Submission 5 from Taiya Bukovshy received the most likes and will be the work that goes on the wall.
Congratulations Taiya!! We will be in touch during the week to arrange the details. We have some CCTV cameras to put up this coming Thursday along with some sensor spot lights, to deter any additional tagging of the building and some over painting of the recent vandalism then we can get started ;-)

Hello All... Thank you all so much for sharing the word and participating with our public art competition. As indicated, we will now share each submission in an individual post. The submission that gets the most "likes" in the next two weeks will be the winner.
In the case of a draw, myself and Siân will make the final choice.

Make your mark - UPDATE Since some lowlife scum have tagged the side of the Cafe´ it's become even more important to get a nice bit of art up there, to wave two fingers up at the little turds whoever they are.
We will be putting up cameras and sensor spotlights at the same to act as a deterrent. So fingers crossed once we have beautified the area again, such senseless acts will cease.

Has anyone close to the shop lost a turtle? Answers to the name of Gerald 🙂 We found him at the back of the shop and we are presuming it isn’t wild and just walked out of the river. We’ll keep him here for a few days and see if there are any takers before we look a new home.

We’d love to meet the scumbag who tagged up the shop over the weekend.

Best coffee, brownies, those white choc and raspberry cookies, white chocolate cheese cake, cauliflower curry and lentil soup around. And all served with a smile. What did we before???
