Rivareno Gelato

It’s a very creamy and rich gelato. We love it!! Me and my wife couldn’t say enough how good the gelato was. Really enjoying so much our 3 scoops gelato and our favourite flavour is cremino rivareno. A suggestion maybe for 3 scoops gelato should be served in a bigger cup so we can easily eat the gelato without melting everywhere all over the cup.

Stopped here for mango and coconut gelato. A bit on the pricier side - $8.5 for two smaller scoops.

Coconut was great, mango tasted a bit sweet & artificially flavoured

One scoop of gelato for six bucks but it was pretty good gelato so it was worth it 🤠 Got the New York flavour which had the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch with the nutty toppings compared to some of the other overly sweet flavours that I’ve forgotten the name of but anyways

I love the place it is clean and outdoorsy and the service was friendly too. it’s no artificial flavour on the gelato, it tastes fresh and what real gelato is supposed to taste like. I would recommend the banoffee taste super delicious! Numero uno✨

Probably my favourite authentic gelato spot that opens from afternoon to midnight on weekends! The best flavour is definitely the salted caramel with hazelnut, damn not even eating it now but typing this review makes me drool! Super duper mega ultra highly recommend!

Gelato was so smooth and creamy, possibly the best I have had in Sydney. The flavour was rich and delicious. I had the New-York New-York and will definitely be back to try others!

The gelato is made fresh daily, and this is evident in the texture and taste. If you plan on going later at night, be aware that their more popular flavours may sell out.

Absolutely favorite gelato in Sydney, way better than Messina's "gelato" which is actually ice cream (flavours are very creative but wayyy too sweet and not soft texture of actual gelato - same goes for cow and moon's texture). The only place in Sydney I've found with real Italian gelato, it's also stored in covered metal tubs to preserve the best texture which is soft enough to be scooped with a paddle and not a scoop (just like in Italy!)

Excellent gelato. Very rich flavours. Some are rather sweet but overall, it's one of the best in Sydney

Gelato taken to the next level. Truly special and well worth the higher price. Experience the delightful anguish whenever you arrive and find your favourite special flavour not there (mine's cremino dark). Thank you Rivareno for being in our lives.

Not less than 5 starts. Gelato is just divine. Way better than any other, inclusive messina. Not so sweet, smooth texture and they have a special flavours menu that is in constant change. If I could I would be there daily. Friendly staff and you can try any flavour before ordering. Price is fair. The only drawback is they don't take cards.

As Italian, I approve this place. Their gelato is really creamy, I had hazelnut one and it was amazing. If you want a good ice cream, this is the place!

Rich and tasty creams. I'd love this gelateria even if I were in Italy (the choice of great ice cream is wider there). Awesome seasonal flavours, too.
My favourite so far.

The best gelato/ ice cream place in Sydney. You cannot avoid pistachio, full of rich roasted nuts flavor which is rare in Australia. Bit salty taste help enhance scent more.
My favorite is pistachio, coconuts, milk, almond, fig and sour cherry source. They are truly evil. They accept only cash otherwise order through Deliveroo.
You have to try if you not sure about Messina.

Don't buy thick shakes here! I was served the equivalent of milk in a small cup. Not enough milk? After it is blended you may even enjoy the wonder of witnessing even more milk added to top it up.

Excellent service. Great tasting gelato. Interesting flavours. I had a sheeps milk ricotta, fig, chocolate covered, pre-prepared "magnum" looking ice cream from the fridge and it was very nice.

The gelato was very creamy but perhaps slightly on the sweet side. Hit the spot though.

Enjoyed a mandarino granita which surprised me with its fantastic taste...
