Amid the shopping, the cooking, the parties and the holidays, it is easy to lose sight of what Christmas is all about. The Road to Bethlehem pageant is a drama tour portraying the events of the first Christmas.

The drama tour starts inside the Jerusalem Market which is an area to capture your interest while waiting for your tour to begin. Entry to the Jerusalem Market is by the Jerusalem Gate which opens at 6: 15pm. Tax Collectors will request a gold coin donation prior to entry.

Once you are inside, the drama tour is free, but because group sizes are limited to 90 people, a ticket is required. These tickets are available from the Ticket Booth inside the Jerusalem Gate. They can also be pre-booked online.

Drama tours commence every 10 minutes from 6: 20pm each night. The last tour leaves at 9: 30pm. Each tour lasts about one hour.

The drama tour returns to the market where you may continue to browse and eat as long as you wish.
