Despite the grey skies, it is officially Spring. Before long, we'll have less orders for hot chocolate and more for the iced variety!

If you're looking for a warming afternoon activity, head along to the launch of the Fireside Festival at the Ovolo Hotel at New Acton today. The doors open from 2pm. Make sure you say hello to Robyn who is there with chocolates (including the Wattle Seed truffles!) and taste some of the best wines produced in the region. Tickets can be purchased at the door. 🍷🔥🍫

The CDWIA Fireside Festival starts tomorrow, and we've put together a package of a hot chocolate, an above-ground Truffle and a delicious brownie served warm, with cream or homemade ice cream and a chocolate-dipped strawberry. Will you visit us from Saturday 18th August to Sunday 2nd September for this $15 package? 🔥🍓☕

Have you tried our Wattle Seed truffles yet? They caused quite a stir last weekend - one visitor tried them for the first time and found them so delicious, she got 6 more for home and vowed she wouldn't share with anyone! 💁‍♂️🙅‍♀️🙍‍♂️ They're available for trial (and stash building) until Sunday 2nd September.

It's August already! This is another busy month for us here at Robyn Rowe Chocolates with Trot & Choc rides scheduled at Burnelee Excursions on Horseback for three Saturdays (4th, 11th and 25th August) and continued availability of our above-ground truffles for The Truffle Festival - Capital Region. We will also be a part of the Canberra District Wine Industry Association's Fireside Festival, celebrating the warm and cosy aspects of winter - details on that to come.

Today is International Friendship Day, so we send thanks to all the groups of people, small and large, who choose us for their 'catch-ups' over coffee and chocolates. We love seeing you take time out and be present with your friends in this busy world. 😊👋💞

Big news! We recently put our creative hats on and came up with a new chocolate flavour: apricot & basil. We're trialling this flavour now and would love your feedback. Available in white, milk and dark. It's gluten free, and also dairy free in the dark version. 🍑🌿🎩

Our Saturday visitors last weekend were treated to a look at this beautiful line up of cars from the Jaguar Drivers Club of Canberra out on their July run. You never know what surprises you will find here. 😃

We have another full weekend ahead with our Trot and Choc riders, the Exhibition continuing and our above-ground truffles. The flavour this weekend is Cinnamon Quill and if last weekend is anything to go by, they'll be running out the door again! 😊🏃‍♀️🍫

So much happened last weekend:
1. World Chocolate day on Saturday was a lot of fun and quite a few people are looking forward to the September release of ruby chocolate. 😀
2. The hardy Trot and Choc riders enjoyed a warming hot chocolate and brownie after their ride at Burnelee Excursions on Horseback ☕🐎 (contact Burnelee if you'd like to book!) and
... 3. We released our Above Ground Truffles (pictured) in celebration of the Canberra Region Truffle festival. They're Wattleseed flavour and most agreed they look earthy, but taste heavenly!! Available through the festival, until the end of August. 🌟

Tomorrow - Saturday 7th July - is World Chocolate Day. In celebration, we've got a very small amount of ruby chocolate for tasting before its release to chefs and chocolatiers in September.
Ruby chocolate is described as having "intense fruitiness and fresh sour notes" so if you're intrigued, pop in tomorrow morning. It's first in best dressed so please don't be disappointed if it's gone when you get here!

We are pleased to announce that we have extended our "Terra Flora" art exhibition featuring the stunning works of talented local artists Amanda McLean and Kristen O'Keeffe.
If you haven't seen it yet, the pieces will be on display until the end of July. We also have some excellent reproduction cards available. ☕🎨🖼

This is a really lovely place for a delicious chocolaty afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly and the cakes delicious. There is a lovely yard with outdoor games like quoits so that kids of all ages can enjoy a bit of good old fashioned play time.

Worth a drive off the main road to this nice, cute shop with lovely knowledgeable staff. Sit by the little lake with chocolate and a cup of tea.

A little far out of the way and the prices are a bit exy and the chocolates don't taste that great but otherwise a nice place to relax and the staff and owner very friendly

Delicious handmade chocolates on site. Best hot chocolate drink that I've ever had. Fun to watch them work, through the large window to their kitchen.
