My husband, daughter and myself dined in your restaurant for Valentine’s Day.



I must say that I have been to your restaurant many times and the past few times have not had the best experiences regarding service.



However, we decided to come for Valentines Day as we do enjoy the food but our experience was one of the worst we have ever had at any restaurant and therefore will not be returning again.



I have previously been a waitress for many years so I would like to bring the following points to your attention as these are things that I noticed while dining that night:



The young male waiter that you had on (not sure if it was his first night on the job or not) but he spilt water all over the floor when taking a jug of water to a table and he didn’t even bother to clean it up. If a customer had of slipped on that water there could have been legal action taken. It took a lady (Barbara I believe her name is) to see it (30 mins later) to have another staff member clean it up.



Your staff do not seem to know where the tables number are - they walk around looking dazed looking for table numbers.



There was a short bald gentleman from the kitchen bringing out meals swearing under his breathe when walking past customers looking for table numbers.



My husband asked for a glass of water with ice when ordering our drinks. He was brought a jug of water with no ice and no glass - 15 mins later after asking 3 times we get brought a glass of water with ice finally.



Garlic bread was ordered as part of our entree and was brought out 10 mins after our entrees were finished - we also had to ask 3 times for our garlic bread to be brought out (after our entrees were nearly finished) and it was black and burnt when put on the table.



The young male waiter kicked my daughters high chair while carrying plates of food that nearly went on top of her due to looking at table numbers and not watching what he was doing.



Our entree plates (along with all the table around us) sat on the table literally till 1 minute before the mains were brought out (a good 30mins after we had finished our entree)



Again the young male wait goes to show some customers their table and then leaves them in the middle of the restaurant and comes back with a meal to serve another table only to tell the customers oh we don’t have a table for you. Another staff member 10 mins later then seats the customers at the same table originally shown to them by the young male waiter.



The young girl waiter was walking around chewing her gum with her mouth open like a cow eating grass - definitely not a pleasant look for customers.



I walked up to the counter to order my daughter some ice cream and had to stand at the counter for 10 mins before anyone even looked at me. The owner himself was making drinks but didn’t even bother to ask if I had been served.



The young male waiter put a plate of food on a customers table and they asked what the dish was. The waiter couldn’t even tell them what the dish was and had to go back to the kitchen to ask. You should always know what you are serving a customer before taking it out.



2 tables around us ended up leaving before they even received their dessert. Barbara ended up getting their desserts made up and put in takeaway containers.



It was a shame that the night was such a disaster and every table around us was beyond frustrated.



This used to be one of our favourite local restaurants but we won’t be returning after our experience.
