September 2014, Doug Ross and Suzanne Rutten set up “Rocks ‘N’ Rings”, a jewellery studio and workshop, in NSW Country Beach Town South West Rocks. With over 35 years experience in the jewellery industry, prior to moving to South West Rocks Doug spent the last 10 years at Troy O’Brien Fine Jewellery at Neutral Bay, Sydney, where he manufactured hundreds of high quality handmade jewellery pieces.

Prior to this, Doug had extensive experience in the opal industry, as well as 6 years’ service with Vivien’s Jeweller’s, as a model maker in their head office. Doug was trained at Clarke and Walton Jeweller’s in Surry Hills, Sydney – which produced many of Sydney’s leading Jewellers.
