SERVICE OVERVIEW

Cement Rendering

Cement Render consists of a premixed layer of sand and cement. It can be applied to brick, cement or stone. Cement render can be coloured or painted over, but a waiting period usually applies if you want to paint over the cement render as the wall will need to lose all moisture. Cement render is the most traditional and common rendering finish however there are other rendering types such as Granosite Rendering (textured finish) or Coloured Rendering (won’t need to paint as the colour is included in the render) that are also popular.

Acrylic Rendering

Cement Render consists of a premixed layer of sand and cement. It can be applied to brick, cement or stone. Cement render can be coloured or painted over, but a waiting period usually applies if you want to paint over the cement render as the wall will need to lose all moisture. Cement render is the most traditional and common rendering finish however there are other rendering types such as Granosite Rendering (textured finish) or Coloured Rendering (won’t need to paint as the colour is included in the render) that are also popular.

Coloured Rendering

Coloured rendering is a acrylic render that offers a timeless look that painting cannot achieve. Using an acrylic base you have many choices on the colour and finish of your rendering project. The main benefit of coloured render is the depth of colour permeates all levels of the render which maintains a rich colour. Coloured rendering comes in all different brands and types making it important an experienced renderer takes ownership of your project, in order for the job to be completed seamlessly.

Rendering Repairs

Cement Rendering Repairs are essential when the cement rendering job has not been done right by a previous company or if the building has actually moved due to a structural issue. If the cement render is beginning to crack we can inspect the building and make recommondations in order to fix the problem. Rok Rendering can provide multiple options in order to solve any cement rendering defects.

Granosite Rendering

Granosite Rendering is the use of a product named Granosite to coat the walls in order to give them an attractive appearance it also ensures optimum and long lasting texture. Granosite with acrylic texture provides an extreme style of coating and painting trends that amaze your building with wonder appearances. Granosite render is also ideal for use for buildings near the water that require a complete resistance against sandy air and salt spray. The team at Rok Rendering can help you decide if Granosite Rendering is best type of rendering for your project.

Blueboard Rendering

Blueboard rendering is the application over acrylic rendering over a blueboard base. A blueboard is placed on a structure before rendering and can be put on surfaces that would not be able to otherwise be rendered over. Blueboards has other benefits which includes high water and mold resistance.

Bagging

Bagging is a form of cement rendering sand-cement mix that is used to literally coat the surface of brick or block structure walls. It is cheaper and applied to a wall without much precision, bagging highlights any imperfections rather than hiding them like render does.

Waterproof Rendering

Waterproof rendering is inclusion of a special additive to make your rendering job less susceptible to cracking. Most of the time when a wall cracks especially if it fairly soon after being rendered there is a structural issue and the wall is actually moving causing the render to crack. Though in some cases excess moisture and rain can play a part in the wall cracking, adding waterproof protection to your rendering mix can help fight the elements of mother nature and assist in keeping the shape of the wall.
