What a perfect day! Thank you everyone who joined us on the links at Lynwood Country Club, raising funds to support seriously ill children and their families.
There may have been a few balls lost in the rough, but plenty of fun as well!

Their second annual Charity Auction has raised more than $100,000 to support seriously ill children and their families at Ronald McDonald House Westmead.

From the early start and bacon and egg rolls, through to a delicious buffet lunch and presentations in the club house, with 18 spectacular holes of golf in between, it was a picture-perfect day at our annual Golf Classic!
Congratulations to all the prize-winners on the day, and an even bigger thank you for your generosity in turning out and supporting seriously ill children and their families when they need your help.

What a night at the GWS Giants game last month!
We are so lucky to have the support of Dyldam, who are our official events partner and help us fundraise during the year, but who also go out of their way to help the seriously ill children and their families who stay at Ronald McDonald House Westmead.
When the GIANTS took on Richmond, Dyldam gave the Morris family the chance to watch the game using their Skydeck tickets at Spotless Stadium.
... Benji and his dad, Peter, also ran out alongside the team and were part of the coin toss, while his brother and sister stood in the guard of honour.
A gesture like this means families who have spent so much time in and near the Hospital can enjoy a night of fun and create memories together ❤

At Ronald McDonald House Westmead, #DoSomethingDay was a celebration of Christmas in July!
Castle Hill RSL Group led the charge as groups from across the community came together to create a delicious Christmas dinner, fun and festive cheer for the seriously ill children and their families staying at the House.
It was a full House, too, with every one of the 60 rooms filled, highlighting just how vital the House is for families who are far from home and facing some of the to...ughest challenges imaginable.

What an incredible surprise from Kyle and Jackie O!
It's not the first time they have gone out of their way to give back to a family staying at the House, and this time KIIS 1065 and Steggles - We're Stegglers for quality time gave Liam and his family a surprise trip to Disneyland Hong Kong.
It's a wonderful gift, especially as Liam has been in the hospital for the past few days.

We are so excited to once again support & be supported by Clubs NSW & Castle Hill RSL Group for #DoSomethingDay - our afternoon has been packed with entertainment and activities for our ‘Christmas in July’ theme for the kids and families including a special visit from Santa !

Being away from home during the school holidays shouldn’t mean missing out on school holiday fun.
Thanks to the generous funding that Little Dreamers Australia provides, the School Holiday program has been able to provide children staying at Ronald McDonald House the best school holidays experience ... ever!
Friendships were forged during a range of fun-filled activities, from pizza making to science experiments, while laughter and song filled the House with African drumming... and disco.
We also had the help of Alix Roberts, who volunteered and supported the Education Services team during these two weeks, along with the students from Mount St Benedict College.
The Grove Academy brought their special brand of engagement, too, helping the kids laugh and learn at the same time with hands-on activities.

For kids staying at Ronald McDonald House Westmead, school holidays can seem a little strange and different, when they are so far from their home, school and friends.
Luckily, our partners at the GWS Giants brought a holiday clinic right to the doorstep of the House on the newly-turfed backyard, complete with netball and AFL skills and drills!

It's always GIANT fun when the GWS Giants come to visit and spend time with the children staying at Ronald McDonald House Westmead!
Today they ran a mini skills clinic in the back yard, with beanbags for families to relax, and netball and AFL activities for the kids.
Thank you to our ambassador Adam Tomlinson and the team at the Giants for making the school holidays fun and active and full of laughter, and for #KeepingFamiliesClose.

Families come from all over to stay at Ronald McDonald House Westmead, and it takes a village of people contributing to keep the doors open so that seriously ill children and their families have a safe, welcoming, home away from home when they need it.
