Congratulations to Kaitlyn and Daniel on their winters day wedding. It was our white Landaus inaugural wedding and it went beautifully. We had to put the hoods up after the ceremony as the heavens opened. It kept our bride and groom cosy on their way back to the reception.

A stunning venue in beautiful Braidwood

Matilda (Tilly) back on the job today with a tour around our beautiful town. The wind wasn't the most pleasant, but fortunately most of the trip most sheltered from it.

The reveal of our white carriage which has just undergone a complete restoration. When we bought it from Qld it was maroon and suffering from the effects of sitting in a shed for a couple of years. It's first job is only a two weeks away! Now clients have a choice of a white or black carriage or both! Many thanks to Mark Burton and Marshall Dunn for their specialist expertise. And of course Denis who has laboured over the paint work and all the fiddly bits 😉

Monte also was on the job giving carriage rides at Mona Farm and Historic home.

What a fantastic day we have had at Mona Farm and Historic Home for their Christmas in July celebrations. Matilda debuted as our new team member for Roscommon Carriages and did fabulously. The crowds kept coming and the weather stayed kind. Many thanks to Suzanne Gearing and Mona Farm and Historic home for inviting us to be a part of this inaugural event.

Come for a horse and carriage ride around beautiful Mona. We'll be there from 10am.

At 7am this morning with the Today show. It was only -4.3 degrees 😨

Look out for us on the Today show tomorrow morning. Braidwood is featuring in the weather segments and we have been invited to be a part of the filming. We expect to be on the 7am time slot.

Our annual trip away up to St Heliers Heavy Horse field days started out with a disaster. Monte cut himself in the yards not long after arriving and required stiches at the base of his neck, which put him out of the majority of the weekend 🙁. We did enter him in the led Clydesdale gelding and gained a third place in a well contested class. He and Zoe backed this up with a third in the junior handler 7-11 years. It was Zoe's 7th birthday on the Saturday so she just scraped in...! Since we were a horse down all efforts then focused on our new mare Matilda. This was only her second show so it was a good test for her new career as a carriage horse. She was unlucky in the large led class. Then had to tackle the challenges of the long rein, log snig and sled class. By the Sunday she had settled in to the show and demonstrated a much more tractable side of her like we see at home. More long reining and log snigging followed up by the work day Challenge, haystacking and pumpkin snatch. We gained a third in the pumpkin snatch and just got ousted on the final run in the haystacking. Once again we had a wonderful weekend with great people and a well run event. We are very happy with how Matilda went and Monte is healing well.

Congratulations Jenn and Micheal on their beautiful wedding. It took place on a beautiful property in the Googong countryside. Monte was his usual chilled out self 😎 We had the hoods up for Jenn's arrival and then put them down for photos.

We are currently restoring another Tasman Landau but this one is going to be white. Stay tuned for it's transformation.

Congratulations Emma and Joseph on your beautiful wedding. We presented the lovely couple at the Canberra racecourse function centre. Monte then provided rides for the guests in front of the finishing post.
