Nice old pub. Good food and good beer. Parramatta prices but good looking patrons...

Since the upgrade, all the warmth and comfort of the place has been removed. It used to be awesome, but now it's like every other gambling den.

My first visit since the recent renovations, I was generally disappointed. There seems to be a bit of unfinished work to the place, with holes in the ceiling and cables hanging from it. The bar service was efficient, but the food I ordered (rump) was below expectation, although one of my companions enjoyed her schnitty, which did look great. Clearing of tables were non-existent, with our empty plates remaining on the tables for at least 30 minutes after we finished eating, along with several glasses from previous rounds. For the most part the staff are lovely, but the older lady who seems to manage the place is as unfriendly as always.

Apparently one of the oldest hotels in Australia. Their food is pretty good, but the place otherwise is a bit of a hole. They've just done some renovations, so we'll have to see what it's like now. I won't hold my breath.

First time back after a long absence. Good to see some familiar faces. Bistro has just reopened after renos. Same friendly feel with trendier decor. Food was above average. Good to be back.

Food is tasty. Ambience is good.

Decent local pub with good food! Reasonably priced food, but drinks are a little expensive.

Seems to me the consortium of this Buisness or owner does not care about how the customers feel about the staff's behaviour , as I'm here as right now, and that bar man the big bulky guy behaves as his paying u to be here, it's a shocker , when I contribute to a Buisness, I expect courtesy especially when I'm spending 80 to a 200 on every visit 4 times a week, that money contributesto the Buisness and the wages of the very ignorant staff with appalling manners , that money pays for there well being ,, kids wellbeing ,rent, toilet paper, etc that's why ur working or running a Buisness, (REMINDER) I reckon a call to boycott places that are meant to providing a SERVICE yet do with such appalling behaviour , if management don't care, I say boycot , curb your desires and spend where ur patronage is appreciated.

Always been a great place for a drink and top feed. Staff friendly now with plenty of outdoor seating great spot in summer
