Having played in a few bands over the years, founder, Paul Dover always wanted to rehearse in a place that had the OMG factor. A place where everyone in the band could have plenty of space to move around in. Where you could sit and write in a relaxed atmosphere and in privacy. Where you felt like you were rock legends. This is the central idea behind setting up our rehearsal studio at Round Mountain.

We are on 30 acres in the hills behind Cabarita Beach, NSW. It’s 20 mins to Coolangatta airport on the Gold Coast and 25 mins to Byron Bay. (Perfect for artists touring the area! ) The studio can be utilised as is for stage and theatre rehearsals, TV and movie pre-production and of course solo or band rehearsals. For something different, roll the mobile stage outside and enjoy the feel of an outdoors gig! Our grassed oval can also be utilised for outdoor production work if needed.

Rehearsal gear from PA and monitors to mics and guitars can be hired. Strings, picks and other gear are available for purchase courtesy of our friends at Revolution Music at Tweed Heads.

As we grow, more boxes are being ticked on Paul’s wishlist for a rehearsal studio and we hope RMR will become a vehicle to not only support the local and national scene but also, most importantly, provide a place that’s all for the glory of Rock ’n’ Roll!
