Conservation services to landholders.

RCS has been involved in many large scale tree planting and direct seeding projects over many years. Our customers have included landholders, government agencies, community groups and private businesses. Since 1999 our energy has been directed towards improving the box gum grassy woodland habitat (BGGW). This habitat is the most endangered habitat in Australia (just 2% remaining) and requires concentrated attention. We bought a substantial holding (Mount Yaven) near Adelong to manage and improve BGGW. We have integrated our work with an agriculture endevour, namely alpaca breeding.
Our successes have improved the numbers of rare plants and animals on Mount Yaven and created a safe haven for these flora and fauna.
