Rustic Spirit

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Rustic Spirit. We loved our room and the peace and tranquility. We even had the local wildlife come and visit. Lovely hosts and dog, Honey. We will definitely be back!

It was amazing. We stayed in two doors, it was very cosey and romantic, loved the bath house with the candles and bubbles,was very relaxing, the staff were very professional and very nice, the grounds were beautiful and very quiet. Very nice place to stay..

Nice place. Bit small. Carpet was uncomfortable

We stayed at Rustic Spirit a couple of times several years ago, it now has new caretakers and the place isn't as good. It's the little things that make a difference. No bathsalts or bubbles for the hot tub, robes are cheap chinese copies that didn't fit, hardly much tea choices, and even though they provided us with all the ingredients for breakfast, a B&B usually cooks it for you. The bed was quite hard, I didn't sleep well. Other than these things, the cottage we stayed in was really cute and nice, peaceful and private. We were visited by possums and native birds.

The perfect location for a tranquil and romantic getaway. As earlier commenters have noted, me and my partner felt like we were the only two people for miles around. During the day, lorrikeets and other native birds were more than happy to visit, and at night we spied possums and even a wombat.

The Flint Hill cottage was very nicely fitted out, with everything one would need for a romantic retreat (even hot chocolate). The spa bath was excellent, even more so when illuminated by candlelight. The bed was most comfortable, and it was wonderful to curl up in front of the fire.

We also enjoyed a delicious and generous breakfast hamper, replete with half a dozen eggs, bacon and sausages. Highly recommended.
